About
Billion Broadcast International (BBI) exists to proclaim Jesus Christ and faithfully communicate the Word of God through biblical teaching, writing, speaking, and digital media. BBI is dedicated to inspiring people to grow in faith, understand Scripture, discover God’s purposes for their lives, and experience the transforming power of Christ. Established in 2025, BBI serves as a platform for communicating the message of Jesus Christ to people in the United States and around the world.
Joshua Light, BBI Founder and President, is a Speaker, Writer, and Ministry Leader with a passion for proclaiming Christ, teaching the Word of God, inspiring faith, and encouraging people to live according to God’s purposes.
Born in Ghana to a Christian family, Joshua accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. He currently lives in the United States with his wife and children. Throughout his Christian journey, Joshua has valued spiritual accountability and the guidance of respected men of God who have influenced his faith and walk with Christ.
As his faith and understanding of his calling developed, Joshua became increasingly passionate about teaching Scripture and pointing people to Jesus Christ. His ministry vision is centered on helping people understand the Word of God, grow in faith, experience the transforming work of Christ, and discover God’s purposes for their lives.
Joshua holds a Master’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Belhaven University. His ministry experience includes prayer ministry and hospital pastoral and spiritual care, where he has had the opportunity to listen to, encourage, pray with, and provide spiritual support to individuals during significant moments in their lives.
Today, Joshua is committed to teaching, writing, speaking, spiritual care, and digital media as avenues for communicating biblical truth and encouraging people in their relationship with Christ. Through Billion Broadcast International, he seeks to faithfully proclaim Christ, communicate the truth of God’s Word, and encourage people to grow in faith and experience lives strengthened, restored, and transformed through Him.
Proclaiming Christ. Inspiring Faith. Transforming Lives.
Statement of Faith
Billion Broadcast International is a Christian spiritual platform rooted in the truth of the Holy Scriptures and centered on Jesus Christ.
We believe the following:
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative foundation for faith, doctrine, and Christian living. We seek to understand and faithfully teach Scripture in accordance with its truth.
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
2 Timothy 3:16
God
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one God in three Persons.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19 (NKJV)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, revealed the love and character of God, and willingly gave Himself for the salvation of humanity.
We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and reigns as Lord. He is the only way to the Father and the source of salvation and eternal life.
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is God and who works in the lives of believers to convict, regenerate, sanctify, empower, guide, and equip them for Christian living and service. We believe the Holy Spirit continues to work through His gifts for the building up of the body of Christ.
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me.”
Acts 1:8
Humanity and Sin
We believe that every person is created in the image of God, but that humanity is fallen because of sin and needs reconciliation with God. No person can save himself through good work or human effort.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
Salvation
We believe that salvation is found through Jesus Christ alone and is received by grace through faith in Him. Through repentance and faith in Christ, we receive forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, new life, and the promise of eternal life.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.”
Ephesians 2:8
The Christian Life
We believe those who belong to Christ are called to follow Him, obey His Word, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, love God and others, pursue holiness, and proclaim the Gospel.
“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
Luke 9:23
Healing and the Power of God
We believe that God is the source of healing and that He is able to heal and restore according to His will and purpose. We believe in prayer, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the continuing power of God to work in people’s lives today.
“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him.”
James 5:14
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, consisting of all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ. Believers are called to worship God, fellowship with one another, make disciples, serve others, and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.”
1 Corinthians 12:27
The Return of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ will return, that the dead will be raised, and that God will bring about the final judgment and the fulfillment of His eternal purposes. Above all, we seek to proclaim Christ, uphold the truth of Scripture, inspire faith, and encourage people to live for the glory of God.
“This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
Acts 1:11
